The ERC & BBCDC team that undertook the LETSEMA Learning Visit brings home advanced digital learning lessons after receiving training on delivery of high quality, bite-sized lectures with engaging visuals to keep learners clued to their screens from start to end. We are eager to revolutionize teaching with podcast-like pre-recorded videos post our fascination with state-of-the-art Lecture Recording Studio at Linnaeus University in Växjö City, Sweden.
Parallel to this, the Linnaeus University proposed collaborative opportunities of AI-driven research with NUL staff and students in areas such as Urban Building Energy Modelling (UBEM), renewable energy technologies life cycle assessment (LCA) and climate risks mapping to fast track sustainable energy transition in Lesotho. The team also participated in the conference on Sustainable Transition and Circular Buildings which was an absolute success with fruitful discussions on circularity assessment and sustainable design highlighting the transition away from concrete structures to timber/wood structures. Since experience is the best teacher, we are dedicated to learning from those who have successfully walked a mile of the sustainability journey.
A visit to the Växjö City Traffic Department (Länstrafiken Kronoberg)’s solar powered electric charging station for 60 new city buses augmented our anticipation for development of e-mobility in Lesotho. As the think-tank of Lesotho’s energy sector is capacitated, nothing but world-class innovation can be anticipated!
